In a world where being a girl is something to be celebrated, I blog about all of the things I love about being a girly. In fact, I’m not just a girl, but a girly girl. And, I’m a mother, a sister, a daughter, a friend, a small business owner, a certified teacher, and a dreamer — among other things.

I hope I don’t disappoint anyone, but what you are going to find here is an almost-daily record of musings about why I love being a girl. I talk about everything from shaving my legs to parenting, and from being a working mom to building a business at home.

I have a website that offers free hair bow instructions. It is also called Girly Things. Go right ahead and get them confused, because when the day is done the two sites will lead back one another over and over anyway.

You’ll often see posts that give you POV (point of view) on life through the eyes of a woman, but just as often you will see life from the POV of a girl. My daughter opens my eyes daily to the way she sees the world from her vantage point.
