It Feels Like Christmas
I just had dinner at my former mother-in-law’s house tonight. I missed her chicken curry and rice pudding and just sitting and talking with her. It was a great visit and the first time since my divorce that I have had extended time with her. We both decided there is no real reason for use to give up our relationship.
Anyway, she works for Shiseido and I came home with a massive tote bag stuffed full of products. I am in cosmetic heaven: eye shadows, lip gloss, skin treatments, and pretty much anything you could hope for. She also had a ton of Elizabeth Arden products that she tossed in the bag as well. I probably came home with a couple of thousand dollar worth of stuff. I feel spoiled, indeed.
This came about due to the fact that I noticed my ex was not taking our daughter to see his mom. I thought about the fact that I live all of five miles from her and that there was no reason that my daughter should not be seeing her more often. So, I took it into my own hands. Plus, I missed her.
