What I Will Leave My Daughter
When I was married, my husband and I both had great life insurance policies through his job. He still has his. In fact, he has had to increase it to follow up on court guidelines that insist he carries enough to ensure that if something happens to him, I will still get the money in child support he would have paid until our daughter is 18.
I don’t have a policy anymore, though, and I have been thinking that it is high time to get some life insurance quotes and take the process seriously. I want to know that I am leaving my daughter more than just my savings account and some nice jewelry. Well, that and one of the largest book collections in the free world
The world of life insurance just makes me so confused. What I need to do is get some basic information from a few companies and then follow that up with my own extensive research. I like to make informed decisions, you know?
