Information Junkie
Information. I am addicted to information. I have always been that kid sitting in the living room at home and reading all the way through the World Book Encyclopedia. I cherished my thesaurus. I read nearly anything I can get my hand on and I soak it up with glee.
Now that we are a wired society, I am in hog heaven – so to speak. I have my computer on most days from the time I wake up until I go to bed. I am continuously connected to the internet and although I am not literally sitting in front of my monitor for hours on end, I like the fact that if I want a particular recipe or if I need to check quickly which side your appendix is on (this was actually information I needed to find tonight, and fast) or if I want to see what time a movie is playing – I simply tap into the net and within seconds I am informed. It’s bliss.
I love having a lot f varied information together all in one place. That is one reason I like articles directories. Of course, some article directories are better than others. I look for solid, simple organization; high quality articles, and a large database of information. I also like to see directories that allow people to submit articles, because not only does it give the authors some exposure, it also means that I am going to ahave access to a more varied pool of expertise.
Web-articles.info is an article depository. Not only is it easy to navigate, it is also intent upon compiling quality information. They specifically say in their guidelines that they are not looking for articles that are written simply for SEO purposes. They want submissions that are going to help build a good resource for their site visitors – be it articles on how to get the most out of your DVR, how to block spam, or even financing your small business. That is my kind of directory.
