I try my very best to keep my daughter away from fast food. Sometimes we go to Wendy’s for a Frosty and on even more rare occasions, she is allowed to have a kids meal. When we are traveling in the car she knows we will generally stop for a burger.

So, now McDonalds has Disney Pirates and Princesses in their Happy Meals. My daughter is an absolute Disney Princess fanatic. She is all about the princesses. We even went to the Disney Pirate and Princess Party last month in Orlando for her birthday.

She saw the commercial for the current toys and is now just about having a fit on the floor, because I will not get up and drive to McDonalds *right now*. Yikes. I did tell her that I will consider letting her have a Happy Meal tomorrow after we go to the early morning showing of Horton Hears a Who.

Edit: It’s Saturday now and I did give in and get my daughter a Happy Meal for lunch. She got a rather cute Ariel sceptor that lights wihen you push a button. It came with interchangable pictures and a page of stickers.
