Rustic Italian Bake
Last night I was looking around in the freezer and saw that I had some chicken tenders and some locally made Italian sausage. All of the sudden I got a brainstorm and I ended up making one of the best meals we have had in a while. I put all of the following on a cookie sheet, added sea salt and fresh ground pepper, and drizzled it with oil. Then, I baked it until it was all done. Delish!
1/2 pound chicken tenders
2 hot Italian sausages, casing removed and pinched into 1-inch sections
1 large potato, sliced thin
1 large sweet onion, sliced into rings
1 sweet red pepper, sliced into strips
That was it. Could it get any easier to put supper on the table?
