Even though it has been raining almost all day and the air feels humid, my skin is just so dry today. I know it has a lot to do with being winter and the fact that we all just tend to dry out easier this time of year. I’ve been told that if you us a moisturizer or cream that has hyaluronic acid in it, you will get better results than you typical moisturizer.

Hyaluronic acid is a natural sugar that absorbs up to 1000 times its own weight in water. I’m not actually talking about injecting the stuff, like you would in FDA approved hyaluronan injections, which fill facial wrinkles. (Restylane is a common name for that product.)

I’m just talking about new products like L’Oreals Skin Genesis lotion. No needles for me, thank you.
