Here is a story about two teens who live near me. Nisreen Swedberg and Sarah Williams were escorted off of Southwest Airline’s flight 3600 from Tampa on February 14 after it landed in Los Angeles.

The girls claim it is because they were too pretty.

Huh?

Southwest says it is due to the fact that Williams used profanities when talking to another customer using the lavatory and that Swedberg and Williams were banging on the door of an occupied bathroom. Crew members say the teens became “verbally abusive” and threatening when the passenger came out and later with the flight crew.

The girls still insist it is because they are good looking. So, what kind of society, what kind of parent, raises children who honestly think that if things go bad for them or if they get called on bad behavior it is because they are “pretty”? They should be ashamed. So should their parents. And, they should not be surprised that the rest of the world is rolling its collective eyes. And, it is absolutely not because they are too pretty.
