Well, most of the plans for our Princesses & Pirates birthday trip are made. I have the tickets waiting for us as the gate. I have made reservations to eat lunch the next day with the Princesses at Epcot. My friend has made the hotel reservations and got our free park hopper passes lined up for the day after the party.

Now, it’s all down to wardrobe. My daughter wore her Sleeping Beauty dress to last February’s Princesses and Pirates party and wants to wear it again this year. That’s fine, even though it will make for repetitive pictures. Our other option is to find a Giselle dress.

Giselle is the new Disney princess, from the Enchanted movie. In most cases, the dresses I find for sale that are modeled after he r costumes are white, as in wedding white. That is a super bad choice for romping around an amusement park. We would be courting stains by putting my daughter in white. I did see a cool, reversible dress that was Giselle’s cartoon pink dress on one side and a blue dress on the other, but it was on a British site and the currency they take is Euros. With the US dollar so amazingly crappy right now, I would be way overpaying by ordering from them.
