Little Rocker Baby

When Gigi was little, I went to great lengths to dress her in the pink that everyone bought for me. She looked fantastic in pink and pastels, so it was no great hardship. Nonetheless, my personal style does not lean in that direction. I wanted a little of my own personality to be reflected in the way I dressed my daughter, so I designed and ordered a handful of onesies with The Ramones logo on them. That said all that needed to be said and I made sure to have them on Gigi as often as possible.

If you are in the same boat as me and agree that being girly does not necessarily mean pink and lace and ruffled socks, then you will appreciate what a Cool Mom’s dream the Crazy Baby Clothing Co. is. They have serious must-haves for the well dressed punk rock baby…, or your little rocker child or surfer babe. They’ve got it all when it comes to hip, modern, cool baby clothes and gear.

Don’t get me wrong, the fluffy socks and frilly, pink dresses were fun, too. No child is one-dimensional though. I rocked my daughter to sleep with lullabyes some nights and Ramones classics on other nights. I reflected that same style in the way I dressed Gigi. I’m grateful there are companies out there making alternative baby gear. Crazy Baby Clothing’s stuff goes up to at least 4T, so they are still a cool option for Gigi’s wardrobe. Plus, they have surprisingly affordable prices.

I couldn’t agree more! I love pink. . .but I also love pink with black! My daughter is going on 7 and I wish I had broken out of the mold much sooner! My sister-in-law, who designs for a HUGE name brand, dresses her 2 year old daughter in ways I never dreamed! She is a fashion plate but not in that frilly girly sense. She wears loud tights with denim skirts and layered tops, Converse high tops. . . she wouldn’t dare dress her in bears and bunnies (not that there is anything wrong with that). On my website i have an entire category dedicated to the “Punk Princess!” LOL Thanks for sharing!
