Linked In

I finally got off my duff and put my profile up on the Linked In site. I’m not as into the social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook, because I suppose I’m past the place in my life where I want to meet tons of new people for strictly social reasons. I am more into networking for professional purposes. Linked In is more of a business and professional online community. I have been able to reconnect with several past coworkers and it’s been cool to see where they have gone in their careers. I am still hunting to people who I used to work with at a company that specialized in corporate performance management. They seem to be as elusive as the people I used to work with at a FOX affiliate outside of Washington, DC years ago.

The quest goes on. You have to love the internet for its networking capabilities.
