I am having a hard time believing that yet another year of my life has come and gone. My situation has not been ideal over the past couple of years, but my life has certainly been full of adventure and new lessons learned. I think my life feels like it is moving so fast because I am a mom. Ever since my daughter was born, time has whipped right by me at a breakneck pace. There is never a dull moment and every day seems to bring another milestone.

To all of you who have stopped by my Girly Things blog, I hope you will come back over and over. I am going to focus more on the inner workings of being a girl. I want to try and look at life through my own eyes (a woman) and through my daughter’s eyes (a little girl on the brink of the rest of her life). Hopefully, I will come away with some insightful prose and enlightening topics.
