Beauty Begins Within

I’m very happy that the beauty industry is beginning to really understand that how your skin looks has a lot more to do with what you put inside your body than just the products you glop on top of your face at night. If you are sick, tired, stressed, or generally unhealthy; the first place this is going to show is your skin. I know that if I notice a dry patch or a series of breakouts, I need to look at my diet first.

Superfoods are foods that help boost your immune system. They are generally full of antioxidants and exceptional nutritional value. Many Asian cultures have been aware of Gâc fruit and its ability to actually trigger the skin’s cellular rejuvenation for years. In Viet Nam it is actually known as the “fruit from heaven”. In a nutshell, it can keep you looking younger for longer by continuing to assist your body in defense mechanisms from free radicals. The fruit is a natural source of ?-carotene, lycopene (Gâc has a much higher concentration of this than the typical commercial tomato), and long-chain fatty acids.

The Gâc fruit is in season in December and January, but you can buy it in supplement form as well. That way it is always “in season”. The R.G. Skin Revitalizer is pure fruit oil extracted from Gâc fruit, and gives you the benefits of the fruit in a highly concentrated form.

I’ve long believed that the right diet is the key to life. There are foods that are more healing in nature than the most expensive pharmaceuticals. If you make sure you get enough sleep, lower your stress levels and eat the foods that will actually nourish your body to the fullest; then beauty is inevitable.
