Soft Hands
I am not a huge fan of Mary Kay products. I think most of them are just “OK”. In most case, I prefer another brand for things like makeup and fragrances, etc. One product they have, though, that is unique and without peer is their Satin Hands line.
I was given a Satin Hands set by one of my best fiends when I had Gigi. She sent it along with some things fort the baby, with a note reminding me to take care of myself, too. For a long time, I had this set packed away and just today I was getting out some of my bath and body products I have not really had room for in this house.
I just finished using the entire regimen and I am remembering all anew WHY this product line holds such a dear place I my heart. I have to wash my hands over and over and over daily, because I am both the mother of a pre-schooler and the care giver for a mother with cancer. My hands were beginning to look like old lady hands, for lack of a better term. One application of the Satin Hands products and my hands look and feel amazing. If I can remember to use the products daily I will be in fantastic shape.
I don’t sell Mary Kay. I just wanted to give this product some love. A Girly Girl has gotta’ have soft hands.
I used to sell Mary Kay. I used to use the makeup and all, even after I quit selling it. I had inventory, and sent back everything except for what I could personally use.
I no longer use the makeup…I’m now a die-hard Bare Minerals girl. But I still love the Satin Hands products, I still have a few sets left over from when I sold MK.
I love the Satin Lips kit, as well. You wouldn’t have this problem in Florida, but up here, my lips tale a beating from both the cold weather and then the dry heat indoors during the winter.
I’m all about Bare Minerals too! I’m out of the base and using some of my old Clinique liquid, which is really fine now that the humidity is gone.
I was born and riased outside of DC, so I absolutely used to have lip issues in the winter. Yes, things are certainly better down here
I’m a Bare Minerals and Satin Hands girl, too! I think the Mary Kay makeup is pretty junky.
