Authors to me are forever that their passing seems shocking at first, and then it fades into disbelief...then, sadness that they will not produce new works.

This sorta hurt my feelings.
I mean, it's not like she was a Spring Chicken, but I felt the same way when Truman Capote died.
I want my authors to remain around forever.
Books have such an impact on your life that they become your friends and your favorite authors become your family, ya know?
At least she's at rest.
