Chris Makepeace: where have you been?
I have several small websites that I set up over the years. Most are for obscure authors, actors and the like. I have a couple of rather high-traffic sites for actors as well, but that is a whole other post.
Anyway, I have a very small website dedicated to the actor Chris Makepeace. You may remember him from such films at Meatballs (he played Rudy) and My Bodyguard (as Clifford). There is not much I can really drum up to put on the site, because the guy all but dropped off the radar after a while. As an actor, he was pretty much unparalleled. The guy is amazing and I always shave wondered why he stopped acting. As far as I can tell, he works in production positions for various shows on the Canadian Home and Garden Channel.
My point here, though, was the fact that I get an awful lot of traffic to my little site. On a daily basis there are just tons of folks out there putting his name into search engines. He is one of those people who just never really fade from your memory.
If anyone out there has updated info on Christopher Makepeace, please let me know. I am wildly curious.
I remember him in Meatballs. Now I’m curious as to what became of him too.
One can only hope that if we blog about him every now and then he will come oout of hiding.
Heh…awww, Chris…
I DO miss him.
Good job, kiddo.
I just checked him out at IMDB hoping to find a movie and part I recognized him from. There’s not even a photo of him. Several movies–none after 2001–and none that I know. I thought it was Kirk Cameron at first glance–good luck in your quest!!
Doesn’t Chris Makepeace look just like Thomas Everett Scott? I watched Meatballs recently and thought it was Scott. After checking it out, I realized it wasn’t. They could pass for brothers. Chris is about 5 years older.
